Ritan, the hero of the “European Series” in “The race to Dubai” golf
Brussels on July 7 / WAM / The Norwegian Christopher Ritan won the honorary title for the “European Series”, in the DB World Golf tour, which is held under the umbrella of the world rankings for “race to Dubai”, after distinguished results achieved in 6 tournaments held this season in Turkey, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Germany.
The tour announced today, “Monday”, Retan won the title, after crowning the Belgian Open Championship, and ranked second in the Austria Open Championship, in addition to his fourth place in the German Open, to win an additional financial prize of 200 thousand dollars, in addition to qualifying for a series of “Back 9” championships, which includes the elite of the season’s championships, and concludes in the UAE next November.
Ritan is currently ranked fifth in the overall ranking of the “race to Dubai” with 1593 points, to approach more than the competition for the final title of the season.
The announcement of the results of the “European Series” came in conjunction with the conclusion of the BMW Open Germany, which witnessed the crowning of the Englishman Daniel Brown with his second title on the DP and Reel, after he finished the competitions with 22 strikes under the rate, to add 585 points to his score, and 35 positions advance in one go in the classification, and become fifteenth place with 1087 points.
The Englishman Jordan Smith benefited from his solutions in the same tournament, with 20 strikes under the rate, to win 389 points, and he rose to ninth place in the overall standings with 1320 points.
The current season for the DBD and Remar is continuing under the slogan “The race to Dubai” to include the establishment of at least 42 championships in 26 countries across the continents of the world, with the participation of the most prominent stars of the game.
The owners of the first 70 positions in the general classification qualify for the final qualifiers, which are launched in the “Abu Dhabi HBC” championship, which is held in Yas Linux from 6 to 9 November, and the top 50 players qualify from it to the “DP and Reld” tournament, which is held at the Jumeirah Golf Club in Dubai from November 13 to 16, to determine the champion of the season.
