Global Green Economy Summit 2025 discusses the role of technology in achieving climate security
Dubai, July 7/ WAM/ The World Summit on the Green Economy 2025 was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, its pioneering position is a catalyst for global climate action, and a strategic platform to enable the least prepared societies to meet the challenges of climate change, by discussing realistic and implemented realistic solutions to enhance climate security.
The summit is organized at its eleventh session 1 and 2 during the next October, which discusses the role of modern technologies in supporting developing societies, and enhancing its ability to adapt to climate challenges across several axes of both the Supreme Energy Council in Dubai, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and the World Organization for Green Economy at the Dubai World Trade Center under the slogan “influential innovation: accelerating the future of the green economy”.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice President of the Supreme Energy Council in Dubai, Managing Director, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and President of the World Organization for Green Economy 2025, said that organizing the global green economy in Dubai reflects the pioneering role of the United Arab Emirates in leading global climate work, by providing a platform to discuss innovative solutions that contribute to accelerating the shift towards the green economy.
The World Green Economy Summit 2025 focuses on empowering developing societies by accelerating the transfer of technology and knowledge, and enhancing its ability to adapt to the effects of climate change, in addition to providing a flexible organizational and legislative environment that enhances the adoption of emerging technologies and expanding their applications, especially in the countries that are less prepared.
