Dubai Health issues 27 comprehensive recommendations to ensure the safety and health of travelers during the summer season

The Dubai Health Authority has issued a comprehensive set of guidelines that included 27 recommendations, action and advice for travelers during the summer season, which is witnessing a wide turnout of individuals, as part of its keenness on the health and safety of society, and with the aim of enabling individuals to enjoy their trips while maintaining their health before, during and after returning to the state.
The authority ranked these recommendations within 3 basic stages to cover all aspects of the trip:
Before traveling abroad (7 tips):
Learn the possible health risks in the travel destination.
– See health laws, procedures and vaccinations required in the country of departure and the country of destination.
Consult a doctor before traveling to those who suffer from chronic health conditions.
Choose a safe stay and a good reputation hotel that adheres to safety standards.
Take care to take sufficient stocks of protection tools such as (handcuffed, darkening, etc.).
Take additional precautions for the elderly, for people with chronic diseases, or pregnant women.
Ensure that personal and necessary drugs are pregnant.
During travel (9 general precautionary procedures and 4 tips for malaria areas):
– General precautionary procedures: (using personal tools, avoiding crowded places, not touching the face, washing and sterilizing them constantly, adhering to the etiquette of coughing and sneezing, using smart payment, and avoiding people with respiratory symptoms).
Flexibility and readiness and the expectation of possible changes in health laws and procedures.
Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of the property and provide good ventilation.
Take care to walk and move on the plane to avoid blood clotting.
– Follow a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition, movement, and get enough sleep.
Drink clean water and avoid reliable snow consumption.
Avoid eating raw foods.
Be careful of animals that may be a transmission of diseases.
Destinations affected by malaria or other transmitted diseases (4 tips):
Cover the body.
Avoid being in open places when mosquitoes (sunset time).
Use mosquito repellent.
Sleeping under a mosquito.
After traveling (3 recommendations):
– See the latest developments and health procedures in the country after the return.
Attention to any pathological symptoms after returning, and self -insulation immediately, with a doctor consulting when they appear.
Caution when dealing with people with chronic diseases and who have weak immunity and the elderly.
The Dubai Health Authority called on all travelers to adhere to these guidelines to ensure a fun and safe journey, stressing the importance of community cooperation to maintain public health.
