“Dubai Roads” develops surface intersections on Al Wasl Street with Al Manara Street

The Roads and Communications Authority has implemented comprehensive traffic improvements at the intersection of Al Wasl Street with Al Manara Street, and the irrigated solutions included a new lane for vehicles coming from Al -Manara Street in the direction to Sheikh Zayed Street, in addition to providing a separate optic wrapping movement (U turn) for vehicles coming from Al -Manara Street in the direction to Sheikh Zayed Street.
These solutions, which are completed within the authority’s endeavors, come to keep pace with the needs of population spread and urban development in the Emirate of Dubai, through the development of infrastructure in the interior, to improve the quality and welfare of life, and to enhance the happiness and satisfaction of the population.
The authority confirms the continuity of its efforts in implementing the 2025 traffic improvement plan, which includes strengthening the road network in the Emirate of Dubai, strengthening the link between the road network and raising traffic efficiency for the parallel axes of Sheikh Zayed Street, and vital areas such as: Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim, and Al -Safa, in line with the strategy of the authority aimed at raising the level of traffic safety and facilitating the movement of movement between the interior regions, and achieving traffic flow in the traffic density sites High.
The traffic improvement, which included the addition of a new lane to the vehicles coming from Al -Manara Street in the direction to Sheikh Zayed Street, aimed to raise the number of tracks on the intersection to 3 tracks, an increase of 50% in the capacity of the roads, which contributed to enhancing the flow of vehicles movement, and reducing the waiting time by up to 30%.
The authority provided the movement to the rear (Turn) separate vehicles from Al -Manara Street in the direction to Sheikh Zayed Street, which contributed to achieving traffic flow for vehicles coming from Sheikh Zayed Street in order to the Al -Wasl and Al -Manara streets, by reducing the waiting time on the intersection by up to 35%.
