Understanding between the Dubai Chambers and the Chinese Machinery Federation

Dubai, July 14 / WAM / Dubai Chambers signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese Federation of Machinery Industry, with the aim of developing bilateral work to upgrade relations between business societies in Dubai and China, and to activate permanent coordination to discuss joint opportunities in all fields.
According to a press release issued today, the Dubai Chamber signed the sidelines of a round discussion table organized in Beijing with the Chinese machine industry, in order to attract advanced industries to achieve the targets of the Dubai Economic Agency “D33”.
The signature was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, and Nianchis Show, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese machinery manufacturing.
His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah stressed the keenness to enhance economic relations between Dubai and China, and to improve bilateral cooperation in priority sectors, especially the industrial sector, in a way that contributes to opening new opportunities for the private sector, and supports the process of sustainable development, noting that it is committed to supporting Chinese industrial companies to benefit from the promising prospects that Dubai abounds in, and the advantages of the competitive emirate as a leading international business center.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the Dubai Chamber will provide integrated support to the companies under the Chinese Federation of machinery to develop their business in Dubai and benefit from the opportunities of expansion and promising growth in Dubai, while the Federation will support the companies operating in Dubai to enhance their partnerships with its Chinese counterparts, and the scope of bilateral coordination will be expanded with regard to events, specialized commercial exhibitions, investment missions and exchange of commercial and economic data.
Officials and representatives of a number of industrial bodies and major Chinese companies specialized in a variety of industries participated in the round table, where ways to develop trade and investments between Dubai and China were discussed in a group of industrial sectors, including vehicles, construction, industrial mechanisms, agricultural sector and water purification solutions, in addition to reviewing opportunities provided by specialized exhibitions in Dubai to expand Chinese industrial companies at the regional level And the world.
The meeting also dealt with Dubai’s focus on developing future economies sectors, especially artificial intelligence and robots, in addition to the role of Dubai Chamber in supporting small and medium -sized companies, as well as major industrial companies to expand to global markets from the emirate.
The strengthening of strategic cooperation between the rooms of Dubai, the Federation of Chinese machinery and the bodies under its umbrella, with the aim of attracting Chinese industrial companies to Dubai.
