Central, and the region produces approximately (80) varieties of diverse dates, most notably, diabetes, salvation, Al -Barhi, Al -Saqqi, Al -Safri, Al -Munifi, Saif, Al -Khudari, Al -Maswani, Shishi, plumbing, Al -Burni, Rashwoodi, Al -Aseila, and others. Within the highest regions of the Kingdom, while the total number of palm trees reached more than (8) million palm trees; The fruitful of them exceeds (6.8) million palm trees, indicating that the total production of salvation and yellow diabetes in the Riyadh region exceeded (273) thousand tons of the total production of the region for all items, while the total number of fruitful palm trees of the two classes reached more than (4) million trees. Agriculture works to develop supply chains and enhance added value by supporting innovation in the field of production and manufacture of dates and its derivatives, and raising its efficiency, to enhance the competitiveness of the sector, ensure its sustainability and its contribution to achieving food security, and sustainable agricultural and rural development, according to the Saudi Vision 2030 targets.
