She described it as “ridiculous” .. Obama responds to Trump’s accusations of “conspiracy”

Barack Obama rejected Donald Trump’s accusations of “betrayal” and “conspiracy”, in response to the claims of the US President that his predecessor was “a coup” by fabricating evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 elections.
Obama’s refusal came in an official statement issued by his office yesterday, in which he considered these accusations “ridiculous and a weak attempt to distract.”
The statement stressed that “the conclusions reached by the intelligence services on Russia’s interference in the 2016 US presidential elections remain correct,” noting that it had supported the report of the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2020 headed by Senator Marco Rubio.
The response came after Trump’s statements during his meeting with the Philippine President Ferdinand Marcus Junior, in which he accused Obama of trying to “lead a coup” and commit a “great betrayal”.
Trump responded to a question about who should be the goal of the proposed criminal investigation in the report of the Director of National Intelligence, Toulcy Gabbard, by saying that “President Obama is the initiator, and Joe Biden was with him, in addition to James Kumi and James Clapper.”
Trump described the documents submitted as “conclusive evidence” that Obama “led a conspiracy” with Hillary Clinton and others to try to steal the elections.
For her part, Gabbard accused in her report National Security officials during the Obama era of conspiracy, but previous intelligence analyzes confirmed that Russia did not succeed in changing the election results despite its attempt to influence them. The report of Special Investigator Robert Muller has previously supported the Senate Intelligence Committee report these results.
