Zain Bahrain announces its financial results for the second quarter and the first half of 2025

Zain Bahrain, the innovative company in the field of communications in the Kingdom, has announced its financial results for the second quarter and the first half of 2025.
The company recorded a net profit of 1.37 million dinars for the three months ending June 30, 2025, represents an increase of 1% compared to 1.35 million dinars in the second quarter of 2024. The basic and light share profitability of one share remained stable at 4 money. The revenues for the second quarter of 2025 to 20.24 million dinars increased, an increase of 6.9% compared to 18.93 million dinars in the same period in 2024. The profits before deducting the costs of benefits, taxes and consumption (Ebitda) in the second quarter of 2025 to 5.71 million dinars, a decrease of 6.3% from 6.09 million dinars, compared to the second quarter of a year 2024.
For the six months ending June 30, 2025, Zain Bahrain recorded a net profit of 2.54 million Bahraini dinars, which represents an increase of 4.8% on an annual basis of 2.42 million dinars for the same period in 2024. The basic and light share profitability of one share remained stable at 7 money. Revenue increased for the first half of 2025 to 41.25 million dinars, with a growth of 7.3% compared to 38.44 million dinars in the same period in 2024. The profits before deducting the costs of interest, taxes and consumption (Ebitda) in the first half of 2025 to 11.09 million dinars, a decrease of 5.9% compared to 11.79 million dinars for the same period in 2024.
At the level of the public budget, the total number of shareholders in “Zain Bahrain”, as well as on June 30, 2025, reached 87.19 million dinars, compared to 88.12 million dinars for the year ending December 31, 2024, recording a slight decrease of 1.1%. The value of the company’s assets, as on June 30, 2025, reached 133.32 million dinars, registering a decrease of 6.1% from 141.91 million dinars, as on December 31, 2024.
