“Abu Dhabi District” is sentenced to 10 years in prison for a convict in a sexual assault on a child

The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court issued a ruling on convicting a defendant for a sexual assault, after his assault was proven to a child inside his private vehicle, and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment, while preventing him from staying in the vicinity of the victim’s residence after the end of the punishment period.

The details of the case are due to a communication submitted by a relative of the child, in which he reported that the 10 -year -old was attacked by the accused in a residential area near their place of residence, where he was lured into the perpetrator’s vehicle and assaulted him inside.

The Public Prosecution in Abu Dhabi began an investigation into the incident, where the research and investigation report revealed the confirmation of the presence of the accused’s vehicle on the crime site on the date of the incident, with a monitoring of its stoppage for a period of time near a school before it left the site later, and the report of the criminal laboratory showed the presence of the victim’s fingerprints

Inside the vehicle, in addition to a genetic installation indicating the accused and the victim.

Based on the proven evidence and technical reports of the court, it decided to condemn the accused and punish him with ten years in prison, and to confiscate the vehicle used in the commission of the crime, in addition to preventing him from staying in an environment of no less than five kilometers of the victim’s residence after the prison sentence was executed.
