A partnership that allows the facilities of free zones in “Masdar City” that owns real estate in Dubai

The Dubai Land and Property Department signed a cooperation memorandum with “Masdar City for Services”, with the aim of providing the way for companies and installations in the free zones of “Masdar City”, to possess plots of land and real estate according to the free ownership system in Dubai, within a clear and integrated regulatory framework, and this step comes within the framework of “Dubai Land” efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the real estate market in the emirate, and expand the base of investors by providing new opportunities for free zones companies, In line with the targets of Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033.
According to the memo, the two parties will cooperate in developing an integrated system that includes clear controls to identify the eligibility of the establishments, provide the necessary legal and administrative procedures to complete registration operations, and direct coordination between the “Dubai Land” and the Free Zones Authority to simplify the procedures and accelerate them, ensure the smoothness of data exchange, and provide an advanced electronic system that allows digital application and tracks requests and joins the documents, including It enhances accuracy and transparency.
This cooperation aims to support the plans of expansion companies, and to provide practical solutions that facilitate their entry into the Dubai Real Estate Market, as well as the “Dubai Land” keenness to adopt open policies that enhance market flexibility and support national efforts in attracting quality investments.
“We continue our efforts to expand the scope of access to the free ownership market in Dubai, through cooperation models that enhance the integration of the real estate system at the state level,” said Majid Al -Marri. The empowerment of companies registered in the free zones falls into owning in the emirate within our directions towards building a more open investment environment, and providing many options for ownership.
He added, “We see in this step a qualitative addition that supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), in terms of diversifying the investor base, and stimulating new investment flows that contribute to the market growth and sustainability, in line with achieving the leadership vision in making Dubai the best city for life and work globally.”
For his part, the CEO of “Masdar City”, Ahmed Baqoum, said: “This initiative reflects the commitment of the firm city city to support and empower companies, by providing them with innovative solutions that meet their growing needs. We aspire to facilitate real estate registration procedures for existing companies in the free zones of (Masdar City) to enable them to expand their operations smoothly, in light of our contribution to advancing sustainable growth in the UAE.
