Developing a manufacturing center in Dubai for 180 million dirhams

The National Industries Park signed an agreement with Al Bayader International Company to develop an integrated center in Dubai for manufacturing and logistics services, at a value of 180 million dirhams, which will contribute to increasing the regional production capacity of the food packaging sector by about 30 thousand tons annually.

A statement issued yesterday stated that the project will contribute to reducing delivery times, improving the availability of packaging solutions for food companies, and enhancing exports to regional and global markets. The project extends over an area of ​​​​more than 678 thousand square feet, and includes facilities for manufacturing and logistics services and a center supported by “robots” to fulfill orders, in addition to the headquarters of “Al Bayader International” and housing for employees.

Construction work is scheduled to begin during the year 2026, with full operation beginning in early 2028. Upon completion, the facility will produce up to 10,000 tons annually of paper food packaging materials, and 20,000 tons of recyclable plastic materials and recycled plastic.

Abdullah Al Hashemi, CEO of Global Operations, Economic Parks and Zones, DP World Group, said: “Expanding regional manufacturing capacity in this sector contributes to enhancing reliability, reducing supply cycles and supporting the trade system in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in general,” noting that the new facility of “Al Bayader International” strengthens Dubai’s position as a center for advanced manufacturing and value-added logistics services.

For his part, the founder and CEO of Al Bayader International, Nidal Haddad, said: “Establishing our integrated center for manufacturing and logistics services in the National Industries Park represents a major milestone in our long-term growth strategy.”
