“Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat” calls for avoiding burial procedures at noon

The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat called on the funerals to perform the funeral prayer and burial procedures in the early morning hours or when the severity of sunlight is broken in the evening, in order to ensure their health and safety from the high temperatures.

The authority emphasized that preserving the soul is one of the major legal necessities in our true religion, which is strengthened by our wise leadership with decisions and legislations that guarantee the safety of members of society.

The commission calls for patience, and avoiding the performance of the funeral prayer during the afternoon times, especially in the period (from 09:00 am until 05:00 pm), in order to ensure their safety from the dangers of exposure to sun strikes and heat stress, asking God Almighty to preserve the UAE, leadership and people.
