From Lebanon to the world: a youth voice calling for peace and justice from the Development Financing Conference

On the sidelines of the Fourth International Conference on Development Financing, which was recently held in the Spanish city of Seville, IPhone Jani spoke to United Nations news, saying that she came to share her ideas and draw inspiration from the experiences of others: “I was fortunate, and I benefited a lot through my participation in the conference. I am happy with my participation because I discovered and learned from participants from different countries and developed my thoughts.”
IPhone Jani aspires to return to Lebanon, and to share this knowledge with children and youth, to explain to them what is going on around the world and how they can bring about change and build a new life.
Diplomacy: an artery
IPhone believes in diplomacy in a troubled world: “We live in a very important time, and the world must be aware that diplomats work tirelessly in order to establish security and peace, and continue their conversations to demonstrate the fundamental role of each country. This conference embodies this view, especially in its economic dimensions.”
Do not forget the screams of hunger and suffering
IPhone message is not limited to hope alone, a memo of our collective responsibility towards those suffering: “Our presence in this conference today goes beyond mere talk and discussion; it is a deep commitment to securing a new and brighter future for our children, a future that unleashes their imagination, in which they can dream, invent, and devise. We cannot lose sight of today’s reality, where people die because of starvation and wars. This requires us to continue to talk about it tirelessly. It is blessed with peace, it does not mean that we forget what is going on in the countries that are ravaging. “
Solidarity and peace in one globe
IPhone emphasizes the need for dialogue on environmental issues, noting that this conference addresses all these areas with the aim of finding solutions to them.
She concludes her message by saying: “We are here to learn from different peoples and create new agreements with them from the United Nations view of solidarity and living in peace in a global ball that brings together everyone from every side, language and color.”
