The UAE is implementing the 54th air projection process over Gaza as part of the process of goods in cooperation with Jordan
Gaza on July 27 / WAM / The “Al -Faris 3” operation announced the resumption of the implementation of the operations of “Birds of Goodness” for air projection No. 54 of humanitarian and relief aid over the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in continuation of the continuous Emirati efforts to support the civilian population in isolated areas in the sector that cannot be reached by land.
The total that has been dropped over the sector since the launch of the “Good Birds” initiative is about 3725 tons of food and relief, using 193 aircraft, which included basic foodstuffs and vital supplies that meet the urgent needs of families affected by the difficult and catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the sector.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the UAE to support the Palestinian brothers, and provide immediate assistance to the displaced and the affected, within a firm humanitarian approach in Emirati politics, where the UAE was one of the leading countries in providing relief support, as Emirati aid represented more than 44% of the total international assistance that reached the sector.
The UAE asserts that supporting the Palestinian people will remain a humanitarian priority, and will continue to coordinate with regional and international partners to ensure that aid is reached across all roads by land, sea and air to the most needy areas.
