11 Medal for the Emirates in the Arab Chess Championship in Morocco

Casablanca on July 28/ WAM/ UAE players and players won 11 colored medals in the Arab Championship for Age groups, which was organized in the city of Casablanca in Morocco with the participation of 216 players from 13 Arab countries, and was held by the Royal Moroccan Chess University under the supervision of the Arab Federation for the game.
The outcome came through one gold medal, six silver medals, and four bronze, in a new confirmation of the development of Emirati chess and the diversity of the talent base in various categories.
The player, Oouda Issa, from the chess and culture club for girls in Sharjah, was crowned with a category under 14 years of female, while the silver medals won each of Mohamed Saeed Al -Layli “Fujairah Chess Club” in the under -20 category for males, and Ahlam Rashid “Dubai Chess Club” in the under -20 category for female For males, Anoud Issa, “Chess and Culture Club for Girls in Sharjah” in the same category for females, Rashid Hussein Al Hammadi “Sharjah Chess Club” in the under -14 category for males, and Mira Abdullah “Ras Al Khaimah Girls Club” in a category under eight years for females.
As for the bronze medals, it was Nassib Yahya Shuaib Al -Kef, “Sharjah Cultural Club” in the under 18 years of age for males, and his teammate Sultan Jaber Al -Zarouni in a category under 14 years, and Muhammad Al -Muaini in a category under eight years for males, along with Fatima Rashid Al -Khusrai, “The Chess and Culture Club for Girls in Sharjah” in a category under eight years for females.
Kholoud Al -Zarouni, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Chess Federation, Chairman of the Women’s Committee, said that the Emirati chess continues to confirm its position in the Arab world, and that participation in the tournament gave the players and the players the opportunity to contact with different schools, in addition to raising the international classification and achieving honorable results.
She emphasized that this outcome reflects the strength of al -Qaeda and the breadth of the circle of talents in the state, especially since the tournament witnessed record participation and gave international titles to the owners of the first positions, which enhances the value of achievement, and is stimulating to continue work and development in preparation for the next participation.
