The start of the last week of the summer programs of the homeland fund

Abu Dhabi, July 28/ WAM/ The activities of the fourth and final week of the summer programs of the Fund of the Watan in more than 56 schools, 5 cultural centers, and 5 youth centers at the state level were launched under the slogan of “my national faith and certainty”.
The activities witnessed a great interaction of Emirati school students and universities and concluded with technical exhibitions that include students’ creativity, line and writing, as well as works using artificial intelligence techniques.
The summer programs – which varied between cultural, national, sports and recreational activities – met a wide praise of parents, especially because of the focus of promoting national identity, encouraging innovation and creativity, in addition to the activities of the “Arabic language of the Qur’an” that were the most prominent in the participating schools.
His Excellency Yasser Al -Qarqawi, Director General of Al -Watan Fund, praised the great efforts made by the sponsors and supporters, partners and departments of the participating centers and schools, stressing that the programs reflect a sincere national spirit, a high sense of social responsibility towards future generations, and the price of the efforts of teachers, trainers, experts, writers and creators participating in activities.
Al -Qarqawi stressed that the Fund of the Watan, under the directives of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al -Watan Fund, is committed to translating the visions of the rational leadership through initiatives and projects that focus on human development, especially young people, enhance their national affiliation and identity, and enable them knowledge and skillfully to be able to creativity in various fields.
He pointed out that the summer programs were not just a recreational means, but rather a real opportunity to introduce the new generations to the authentic Emirati values, establish national heritage, encourage talents and enhance the spirit of innovation and creativity in a stimulating and comprehensive environment.
For his part, Saeed Al -Amri expressed his happiness to participate for four weeks in training students on the basics and aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy, stressing that there are many promising talents that need support to refine their skills.
He pointed out that the workshops focused on developing the aesthetic sense of students and enhancing their association with the letters of their mother tongue, praising the role of the homeland fund in caring for Arabic calligraphy and ensuring that it is always in its activities and activities dedicated to new generations.
For its part, Siham Meldan, the supervisor of activities in the summer programs of the Al -Watan Fund at Abu Dhabi International School, confirmed that students interacted positively with the events, especially those that focused on the national identity, the Arabic language, and the Emirati values.
For her part, the writer and educational, Hamad Al -Balushi, expressed her happiness with direct communication with the students, by presenting the Emirati folk stories that transmit values and morals in a simple and attractive style.
As part of the theatrical performances accompanying the programs, the play “The Secret of the Blue Freej” starred at the theater of the cultural center in Fujairah, amid a wide public presence of all ages.
