Antonelli is the youngest to start from pole position in Formula 1.

Young Italian Kimi Antonelli has become the youngest driver in the history of the Formula 1 World Championship to take pole position in an entire race, after he recorded the fastest time in qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix with the Mercedes team yesterday, making him the youngest pole in the history of the championship that will be held today.
The 19-year-old Italian finished the qualifying trials 0.222 seconds ahead of his teammate George Russell, the championship leader, who ensured that Mercedes started from the front row, after he faced a problem with his car earlier. Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton came in third place.
