Khalid bin Hamid Al Qasimi crowns the winners of the Arab Chess Championship

Casablanca on July 28/ WAM/ Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Humaid Al Qasimi, President of the Arab Chess Federation, won the first centers in the Arab Chess Championship for age groups from 8 to 18 years for males and females and a category under 20 years organized by the Royal Moroccan Chess Federation and under the supervision of the Arab Chess Federation with the participation of 216 players and players from 13 Arab countries.

He attended the last round competitions and crowning the winners of Bushra Al -Qadri, President of the Royal Moroccan Chess University, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, and a number of personalities and heads of delegations.

The results, after the ninth and final round, resulted in the victory of the Palestinian Majid Al -Tal with a category under 20 years of male after he finished the competitions with 7.5 points, while the Emirati Mohammed Saeed Al -Layli won the Emirates national team player and Fujairah Chess Club, the silver medal with 7 points, and the Libyan Youssef Al -Samadi won the bronze medal with 6.5 points.

The Egyptian Joy Romanian won the title of an under 20 years of age for girls with 6 points, and Ahlam Rashid won the Emirates national team and Dubai Chess Club, the silver medal with 5.5 points, while Tunisian Yasmine Jumha won the bronze medal with 5 points.

The Egyptian David George Samir won the title of an under 18 years of age for males with a score of 7.5 points.

The Jordanian rabbi won the title of an under 18 years of age for females with 8 points, while the Egyptian Jana Mohamed Zaki won the silver medal with 6.5 points, and her citizen Maryam Azab won the bronze medal with 6 points equal with Tunisian Maryam Boumour and the Palestinian Iman Sawan.

Al -Masry Farid Tamer Wajih settled the title of an under -16 category with the full score with 9 points, two points behind Emirati Rashid Abu Bakr Al -Humairi, who won the silver medal with 7 points, and the Palestinian Mohammed Sidr won the bronze medal with 6.5 points.

Jordanian Jude Ahmed kidnapped the title of an under -16 category for females with 7 points equal with Emirati Anoud Issa, who won the silver medal, and the Egyptian Dima Alaa came in third place with 6 points.

The Egyptian Iyad Al -Husseini succeeded in settling the title of a category under the 14 -year -old for males with the full mark and with 9 points, and Emirati Rashid Hussein Al Hammadi won the silver medal with 7 points, followed by Emirati Sultan Jaber Al -Zarouni, who won the bronze medal.

The Emirati Auda Issa won the title of a category under 14 years of female with 7 equal points with Jordanian, good Hilal, who won the silver medal. Tunisian Nadine Rajib won the bronze medal with 6.5 equal points with the Egyptian Raghad Aladdin, who ranked fourth.

Al -Masry Abdel -Rahman Sameh won the gold medal for the under -12 category for males with 8 points, while Tunisian Youssef Abdel Razek finished second and won the silver medal with 7 points, and his compatriot Thabet Benzarti won the bronze medal with 6.5 points.

The Egyptian intelligence Mohamed Ahmed won the title of a category under 12 years with the full score and obtained 9 points, while the Palestinian Randa Sidr came to the silver medal with 7 points and Tunisian Yara Abdullah in third place with 6 points.

The Qatari Khaled Al -Gamaa succeeded in winning the title of an under 10 years of age for males with 7.5 points equal to Tunisian Jihad Mandili, who came in the runner -up and the silver medal, and the Egyptian Youssef Dowidar won the bronze medal with 7 points.

The Egyptian Ghaida Mohamed Ahmed won the title of an U -10 category for females after winning the first place in the full score with 9 points. Tunisian Jana Hadk came in second place and the silver medal with 8 points, then the bronze medal for her citizen Yasmine Demasi with 7 points.

Tunisian Youssef Al -Haj Salah won the title of an under 8 years of age for males with 7.5 points, while his compatriot Yahya Demasi came in second place and the silver medal with 7 points, then the Emirati Mohamed Al -Muaini in third place and the bronze medal with 6 points equal with the Egyptian Moheb Ahmed Osama, who finished fourth.

Tunisian Ellen Hadak won the gold medal for a category under 8 years of females, and Emirati Mira Abdullah ranked second, the silver medal, then the bronze medal for Moroccan Salwa Bayry.
