UAE and Italy signs a strategic partnership agreement to combat corruption

Italy, July 30 / WAM / The Emirates Accounting Agency signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the National Anti -Corruption Commission in Italy, aimed at establishing an advanced model for international cooperation in the fields of integrity and transparency, in a move that reflects the UAE’s commitment to strengthening global governance.
According to a press release issued today, the agreement was signed by His Excellency Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, head of the Emirates Accounting Agency, and Joseph Bossia, Chairman of the National Anti -Corruption Authority in Italy, to launch a new stage of institutional cooperation between the two countries that go beyond the traditional frameworks towards building an integrated system to combat corruption at the global level.
The partnership is based on the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Italy, as Italy is one of the most prominent European partners of the Emirates in several fields.
This cooperation is an extension of a long path of trust and understanding, and is an ambitious step towards developing innovative standards for international cooperation in fighting corruption.
The agreement focuses on developing effective mechanisms to exchange experiences and knowledge, while paying special attention to modernizing tools and methodologies to keep pace with the complex global challenges in this field, and the agreement also includes advanced training programs to prepare qualified national and international cadres, in addition to coordinating positions in international forums to enhance dialogue on best practices in rational governance.
The initiative comes within the framework of the “UAE Vision 2071”, which seeks to consolidate the state’s position among the best in the world by the centenary of the union, as it represents governance and anti -corruption, basic pillars in the process of sustainable development.
Through the partnership, the UAE asserts its role as a global reference in promoting integrity, and contributes to building a more integrity and transparent future for future generations.
