Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Johnson’s visit to "Ariel" Violation of international law and the contradiction of the declared American position
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the visit of the President of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, to a colony & quot; Ariel & quot; Stiled on the lands of citizens in the heart of the occupied West Bank, considering that it represents & quot; a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy decisions & quot;
& nbsp;
& nbsp; The West Bank, noting that such statements enhance the crimes of colonialism and colonists, and encourage the seizure of the lands of the Palestinians, in a flagrant challenge to the Arab and American efforts made to stop the aggression and achieve calm. The colonists’ attacks & quot, stressing that such positions offend the image of the United States as a honest broker, and weaken the chances of reviving the peace process. The Ministry renewed the assertion that colonialism in all its forms is void and illegal, and constitutes a real obstacle to the application of the principle of the two -state solution and achieving a fair and comprehensive peace, demanding the American administration to take a clear and binding position towards such actions that affect international law and undermine calm efforts. & nbsp;
