With a shipment coming from Iran … thwarting the smuggling of a large amount of drugs in Kuwait
Kuwait Customs announced that the inspectors of the Northern Ports Customs Administration and the Velka Island – Doha Port in cooperation with the Customs Research and Investigation Department and with the support of the customs impact group managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle a large amount of narcotic substances that were in a professional in a charge coming from Iran.
In a statement, Kuwait Customs confirmed that one of the next ships was suspected based on the analysis and collection of information, which necessitated the subjugation of the shipment to accurate inspection, as it was found that the authorized goods are animal feeds, and after examination and inspection, approximately 4,550 tablets were found suspected of mental effects and an amount estimated at approximately 5,200 kilograms of narcotic marijuana.
She added that an official seizure record of the incident has been edited, seizures and referred them to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures, and the General Administration of Customs confirms its continued confrontation with all attempts to smuggle prohibited materials.
