"Dubai Roads" Register an increase of 20% in the recharge transactions of Nol Cards

Dubai, August 6 / WAM / The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced a 20% increase in recharge transactions Nol cards through digital channels during the first half of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, as part of its efforts to enhance digital transformation in public transport services and raise the level of customer satisfaction.

The authority explained that the improvements included the provision of digital devices to sell and ship tickets, and educate the public using digital channels such as the website and payment applications, in addition to raising the minimum cards shipping via ticket devices and offices.

Statistics showed a decrease in the total transactions to recharge the cards via tickets by 28%, compared to the high digital transactions across these devices by 20%, while the number of cash transactions in ticket selling offices decreased by 37%, and digital transactions by 6%, to reach the total decrease in offices 26%.

The authority emphasized that this trend contributed to reducing waiting lines and reducing the operational costs associated with the management of cash, as well as the decline in the breakdowns of tickets by 80% as a result of a decrease in the number of cash transactions.
