"Fujairah Natural Resources" A brainstorming session is organized with the participation of 42 risk facilities
Fujairah on August 8/ WAM/ The Fujairah Foundation for Natural Resources organized a brainstorming session with the participation of representatives of 42 mining facilities operating in the emirate, in the framework of the guidance of good leadership to enhance sustainable development in the mining sector, and to implement the emirate’s vision to advance the mining work system and enhance its operational and organizational efficiency, in line with the Emirates Vision 2031.
The organization of the session came in the context of the Foundation’s endeavor to consolidate the participatory design curriculum in developing its services and activating the partnership with the private sector and harmonizing its services and procedures with international best practices.
The session discussed several strategic axes, the most prominent of which is to enhance the speed of response and the efficiency of services, to align legislation with development requirements, and to define measurement indicators that are appropriate to the nature of work in the emirate, as well as offering a professional safety guide in facilities.
His Excellency Eng. Ali Qassem, Director General of the Foundation, stressed that the efforts of the relentless institution start from the directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to enhance the role of the mining sector, a pillar of sustainable economic development, and in implementation of continuous follow -up and direct support from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, who pays special attention to developing the organizational, legislative and service structure of the sector, in a way that enhances Its competition locally and globally.
He pointed out that the session is a practical model for integration between government agencies and the private sector, and reflects the Foundation’s commitment to developing a flexible and secure mining environment that supports investments and keeps pace with the aspirations of the state, and enhancing the emirate’s attractiveness is a strategic destination in the mining sector at the state and the region.
