His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, chaired the meeting of the Permanent Committee The Hajj season and the integration of the efforts of all sectors to provide the finest services to the guests of God.
Plans for the Hajj season
The committee reviewed the latest developments related to the departure of pilgrims from their countries after performing their rituals, with a focus on providing means of comfort and care for them. It also reviewed the readiness of the authorities’ plans for the Hajj season 1447 AH and the efforts of the security sectors at the sorting points and at the entrances to the Holy Capital.
In addition to following up on the progress of vital projects in Mecca, the holy sites, and the field missions implemented to ensure the highest levels of readiness to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance, while the committee discussed a number of topics on the agenda and made the necessary recommendations regarding them.
