Through artificial intelligence .. UAE enhances presence "Dad language" Global

Abu Dhabi, August 10 / WAM / The UAE presented a typical experience in harnessing artificial intelligence within the process of integrating the Arabic language and its cultural treasures in the digital world in order to enhance its regional and global presence as a language capable of interacting with the requirements of the future.
Many state institutions adopt qualitative initiatives to employ artificial intelligence and modern technologies in various fields such as publishing, education, dictionaries, and creative content.
The historical lexicon project of the Arabic language is one of the leading projects that Sharjah has accomplished, “the capital of Arab culture”, during the past year, and represents a scientific achievement that contributes to documenting the development of the Arabic language throughout the ages. The announcement of the completion of the dictionary was followed by the launch of the “GBT historical lexicon”, with the aim of employing modern innovations to serve this language and spread it in various parts of the world.
Connecting the dictionary to artificial intelligence allows researchers and interested people to reach more than 20 million Arabic words, in addition to the possibility of writing and reading texts and converting them into videos, while providing the dictionary feeding feature continuously with information, through cooperation between the Arabic Language Complex in Sharjah and the Emirates Research Center for Research and Studies.
In turn, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation is working on enhancing culture and digital knowledge in the Arab world, through several initiatives, most notably the “Digital Knowledge Center”, the Arab platform that deals with the production, collection and regulation of digital information content in an integrated framework.
During the past year, the size of the content offered by the center exceeded 800 thousand titles, and 8.5 million digital articles, in more than 18 specialized libraries in various fields of study, intellectual and scientific.
For his part, the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center of the Department of Culture and Tourism is implementing several initiatives that employ artificial intelligence and modern technologies in the fields of publishing, including the “Dictionary of Digital Meaning Directory” project, which is the first Arabic -English dictionary, an integrated English, provides a new cognitive experience that employs artificial intelligence and language computing, and includes more than 7000 materials that cover the largest percentage of vocabulary used in the contemporary language.
The lexicon allows users – especially from non -Arabic speakers – an accurate and smooth understanding of vocabulary, through advanced benefits that include automated pronunciation, simplified definitions, illustrative examples, and images, with accurate exchange and semantic classifications, and the lexicon is characterized by technical flexibility that allows its development and update continuously, making it an educational and knowledge tool that keeps pace with the times.
The center launched the “AI Voice Book Technology” project, with the aim of converting written texts into high -quality audio content using automated learning techniques, and also launched the “Poetic Intelligence Laboratory” that allows users, especially young poets, teachers and students, digital tools to control poetic texts linguistically and present, improve formation, and examine language safety and rhythm.
The center, in cooperation with a team from New York University Abu Dhabi and Zayed University, also launched the “Balanced Arab Blog – Bariq” project, which aims to collect a linguistic blog of 10 million words, including a wide range of literary races and topics.
The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair in its last session witnessed the launch of the “Digital Square” initiative, a technical space that provided a platform to enhance the uses of artificial intelligence in the field of publishing and book.
In addition, many educational institutions were keen to participate in launching various initiatives to enhance the use of artificial intelligence and modern technologies in teaching the Arabic language, the most prominent of which is the University of Zayed, which launched the digital platform “Zai”, to develop the education of the Arabic language by providing innovative tools and resources to support teachers, students and researchers, and the University of Mohammed bin Zayed for artificial intelligence, which participated in the launch of the “Jais” model, which is the great linguistic model in the world In Arabic, its launch has enabled more than 400 million Arabic speakers around the world to take advantage of the benefits of obstetric intelligence.
