The UAE calls for an end to the conflict in Sudan, amid the escalation of misinformation from the Port Sudan authority

The UAE renews its firm position of supporting the Sudanese people in their pursuit of peace and stability and ensuring a generous future for it.

Since the outbreak of the civil war, the UAE has provided continuous support for regional and international efforts aimed at reaching an immediate ceasefire, protecting civilians, and ensuring that those responsible for the violations committed by all the warring parties are held accountable, as the UAE confirms its commitment to supporting a process led by civilians and puts the needs of the Sudanese people over the interests of any party.

In this regard, the UAE refers to the escalation of false allegations within a systematic campaign before the so -called “Port Sudan Authority”, one of the parties to the civil war, which works to undermine efforts to end the conflict and restore stability. These increasing false allegations are part of an intended approach to evading responsibility and blame others, and to disavow the consequences of their actions, with the aim of prolonging the war and obstructing any real path of peace.

The UAE affirms its firm determination to work closely with its partners to enhance dialogue, mobilize international support, and contribute to initiatives aimed at addressing the humanitarian crisis, and laying the foundations for achieving sustainable peace, which contributes to building a safe and stable future for Sudan, which meets the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people towards peace and development.
