“The Castle Festival for Music and Singing” returns in its 33r
The “Al -Muqti Theater” in Salah al -Din al -Ayyubi Castle, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, will host between 15 and 23 August, the activities of the thirty -third session of the “International Castle for Music and Singing and Singing Festival”, organized by the Egyptian Opera House, in cooperation with the Tourism Promotion Authority, with the participation of a group of Egyptian singing stars and local and international folklore teams.
The festival is also witnessing the honoring of a prominent group of Egyptian artistic names, which worked to establish the name of art and music in Egypt, Arab and globally, as the festival is considered an Egyptian cultural message, which contributes to spreading the values of beauty and creativity, as the arts are an effective tool for building a more inspiration and strenuous society.
The festival gives, through the daily mass performances, an integrated artistic experience, which mixes originality with modernity, with an artistic diversity worthy of the ancient historical place, to be a cultural and artistic event, which the audience awaits annually.

Musician Hani Shenouda
The International Castle Festival for Music and Singing honors, this year, a group of personalities, which left a clear imprint in the artistic scene in Egypt and the Arab world, along with personalities who contributed to the success of previous courses, the most prominent of them: musician Hani Shenouda, the star Ihab Tawfiq, the oud player Hussein Saber, the rhythmist Mohsen Al -Sawaf, the engineer Yasser Al -Bahwashi, the head of the central administration for the engineering affairs Arafat, former director of the Arab Music Institute.

The “International Castle for Music and Singing and Singing Festival”, in its thirty -third session, is characterized by a musical diversity that embodies the spirit of cultural openness, where the festival witnesses the participation of global teams from distant countries, carrying the colors of their musical cultures, such as: Kazakhstan and Colombia, and this geographical and cultural diversity gives the festival a distinctive identity, where civilizations meet in one space, and the dialogue of cultures in international music.
