The ruler of Sharjah is directed to create a social welfare complex and adopts a decent living grant for families

Sharjah, August 11/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the establishment of the Social Welfare Complex and raised individuals with a decent living grant for families in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The Social Welfare Complex will be established in the suburb of Al -Rawdat, and the complex will include the elderly welfare house, the for children’s social welfare, the adult oases concerned with mental health, and the Women’s Protection Center, to be under one umbrella and in one place on an area of 140 thousand meters, and will include many vital, recreational and service facilities, a mosque and a gym for the employees of the role.
The allocations of individuals will also be raised with a decent living grant for families consisting of two individuals or more and have an income, which numbered 3162 families registered in the Social Services Department, at an annual cost of 134 million dirhams, which will be disbursed from next month, with the aim of raising their income to the point of decent living of 17500 dirhams per month.
