Minister of Justice: Empowering youth in the year of society is a national vision for a prosperous future
Abu Dhabi, August 12/ WAM/ His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al -Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, stressed that the International Youth Day constitutes an important national occasion that reflects the rational leadership’s commitment to support and empower the UAE youth, as they are the driving force for the development and innovation process, and a basic pillar in building a firm and prosperous society.
He said that the allocation of the year 2025 to be the “year of society” under the slogan “hand in hand”, enhances the position of young people in the heart of national initiatives, and stresses the importance of their role in consolidating the values of cooperation and belonging, and active participation in formulating the future of the Emirates.
His Excellency explained that the state was keen to develop a legislative and institutional environment that allows young people to launch their energies in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and volunteer work, in a way that keeps pace with their aspirations and enables them to contribute to achieving societal progress, noting that the Ministry of Justice is working in cooperation with the relevant authorities, to support initiatives that enhance young people’s participation in public life.
