Dubai Municipality launches the “commitment” application to enhance the emirate’s attractiveness and leadership as a city cleaner in the world

Dubai Municipality announced yesterday the launch of a smart digital application called “commitment”, aiming to enable a group of Dubai officials to monitor and document violations by granting them the status of judicial seizure, which includes in the current stage public hygiene violations. The application comes within the framework of Dubai Municipality’s firm commitment to enhance Dubai’s position as a city cleaner in the world, and it represents a strategic step to enhance the role of officials and society in maintaining the cleanliness of the city, and educating the community to be an active partner by adhering to the laws, legislations and regulations in the Emirate of Dubai.

The “commitment” application focuses on the involvement of decision makers and officials in the judicial seizure and enabling them to monitor and control, which contributes to enhancing the culture of social responsibility, maintaining the sustainability of the city’s cleanliness and raising the quality of life in Dubai. The application provides users with the opportunity to monitor public hygiene violations immediately by taking pictures and setting the site automatically and adding notes.

In the same context, “commitment” cover 8 main violations of public hygiene, including: spitting in public places, dumping of the dairy materials or its waste, throwing waste in public places, throwing organic or public waste in the sea or on the beaches or in the creek or ports, and the validity of vehicle washing water in places not allocated to that, setting fires or barbecue in public places that are not authorized With it, in addition to distorting the urban appearance by sticking ads or publications randomly, and not removing animal holders to their waste in public places.

The application is integrated with the law regulating the status of judicial seizure in the Emirate of Dubai No. (19) of 2024, aimed at ensuring the validity of the application of legislation in force in the emirate, and ensuring the integrity of the measures taken by the judicial seizure warden, as well as enhancing community participation, and enabling community members to support government agencies and active contribution to limiting every act that violates the provisions of the legislation in force.
