The UAE and Egypt are looking to benefit from artificial intelligence in the field of advisory

Cairo, August 13 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, with the Egyptian Mufti of Diyar, Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad, discussed cooperation, promoting integration and exchanging experiences in the field of advisory Fatwa between the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This came during the meeting that brought them together on the sidelines of the conference “The Grand Mufti Industry in the era of artificial intelligence” held in Cairo, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Director of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, His Excellency Dr. Saba Salem Al Kaabi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Sharia Fatwa Council, and a number of officials in religious affairs from both sides.

During the meeting, ways to benefit from digital technologies and artificial intelligence were discussed in the delivery of the correct fatwas to societies, especially in light of the contemporary challenges and thorny issues facing various groups of society.
