He pointed out that family travel leads the demand for travel during the current season, noting that the pressure on the return trips in the second half of August and the beginning of next September is frequent annually, but this year it came “more severe”, as a result of the continuous rise in the demand for air travel every year, and the return of schools with the summer tourism season, and a steady increase in global demand for travel, which makes pre -planning and flexibility in the appointments basic factors for a comfortable travel experience And economical.

Mansour continued: «During the last two weeks of August, trips are almost completely full, and this great demand has made it very difficult for those who did not book in advance to find seats at reasonable prices.

He pointed out that even for destinations that are stations for tourist holidays, they suffer from pressure itself, pointing out that the families who spent the summer there choose to return almost in the same days, which creates the peak of focused reservation.

Mansour stated that the prices of airline tickets are currently in acceptable levels, but they are high in a large percentage in the event that the date of the return trip coincides with the second half of August and the first days of next September, explaining that the average price of flights varies from one point to another, according to the demand rates.

Limited seats are available

In the same context, the general manager of Al -Awadi Travel Company, Amin Al -Awadi, said that a very limited number of seats are available on return trips in the last week of August, especially to the family destinations in the Arab countries, as well as tourist stations in Southeast Asia.

He continued: “We advise travelers to early planning as much as possible, and not to wait for the reservation at the last minute, because the available options will be limited and their prices are much higher.”

He added: «The price of the return ticket currently from the Jordanian capital, Amman, reached 1850 dirhams, an increase of 200%, as the price from the Lebanese capital, Beirut, reached 1700 dirhams, an increase of 150%, and the price of the return trip ticket from Thailand and Vietnam increased by rates of 200%. Finding reservations.

In turn, the CEO of the Nervana Holding Group, Alaa Al -Ali, agreed with the idea that the demand for returning trips to the UAE is very high, and said: “The demand is high, which raised the slogan (full number trips), especially with the arrival of travelers in summer periods to record numbers, as it is the main leave period that is also characterized by family travel, not individual, as it is a leave for schools and universities together.”

Al -Ali stressed that the very high demand for return before resuming the study raised the prices of tickets to return to the late reservations in rates exceeding 90%, with their variation according to the destination and the date of reservation and return, pointing to the fluctuation in the prices of tickets several times during the same day, and he explained that this comes within the framework of the increasing demand significantly and the limited supply, indicating that the rise included European, Asian and Arab destinations together.

As for the director of sales at the Habi Line Travel and Tourism Company, Taher Issawi Al -Sheikh, he told «Emirates Today» that the return trips to the state are full, whether from the main destinations for residents or from European and Asian destinations that witnessed a remarkable demand this summer, pointing out that the occupancy rates reached 100%, driven by the high demand for return trips before the school season, especially for families.

He explained that the late reservations for return trips, especially from the main Arab destinations, are witnessing a noticeable increase in ticket prices in large proportions, differing from one company to another, and from one point of view to another, while on average it reached 70% or more.

He stressed the importance of early seizure of going and returning tickets, especially during the summer, which is witnessing great heights in ticket prices.


The difference between the prices of commercial and economic aviation has shrunk

Wael Salem, the director of sales at MK, said that the rise in the prices of late reservations for return included various Arab, Asian and European destinations, which witnessed a great demand during the summer period, indicating that the rate of rise ranged between 100 and 166%, compared to its prices at normal times immediately before the summer season.

He confirmed the increase in the airlines, as well as a major change in the prices of tickets for returning to some of the main destinations, several times, on the same day.

He explained that the price of the return trip from Cairo for the “last mines” reservations increased from 1200 dirhams to 2700 dirhams, an increase of 125%, and the price of the return trip ticket from the Thai city of Foucape increased to 4000 dirhams, compared to 1500 at most, with an increase of 166%.

He continued: «The price of the return ticket from the British city of London also increased from approximately 1500 dirhams to more than 3000 dirhams, an increase of 100%.

Salem stressed the difference in the difference between the prices of commercial and economic aviation as a result of the rise, stressing the importance of planning to travel early and forth early, which reduces the price of tickets by rates of up to 50%.
