The unemployment rate in Australia decreased to 4.2% during July

Canberra on August 14/ WAM/ The Australian Statistical Office data, issued today, “Thursday,” showed the unemployment rate in Australia during the month of July, with a strong increase in the number of workers, which indicates the continued strength of the Australian labor market.

The office stated that the unemployment rate decreased during July 2025 to 4.2% compared to 4.3% in June 2025, which was its highest level since late 2021, and analysts expected the inflation rate to decrease to 4.2%.
