The Ministry of Finance informs the delegation of Indonesia for its advanced experiences and methodologies

Dubai, August 14 / WAM / The Ministry of Finance received a high -level delegation from the Executive Leadership Program for the Republic of Indonesia, as part of a field visit aimed at exchanging knowledge and viewing best practices in the areas of digital transformation of government services, medium -term financial planning, and budget methodology based on a zero basis.
The members of the delegation reviewed the presence of His Excellency Maryam Mohamed Al -Amiri, the assistant undersecretary for the government financial management sector, and a number of directors of departments on a series of illustrations and interactive discussions that highlighted the advanced methodologies adopted by the Ministry in various aspects of government financial management.
The Ministry reviewed the axes of the Ministry of Finance strategy 2023-2026 aimed at ensuring financial sustainability, enhancing national financial flexibility, and empowering innovation, as well as the global advanced centers it achieved in competitiveness indicators thanks to the indicators of flexible and global strategic performance.
The Ministry offered its initiatives in digital transformation and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, including 100% full automation of internal technical operations, 95% of satisfaction with dealers through digital channels, and reducing the time of completion of services by 70%.
The offers included international awards initiatives in innovation with artificial intelligence, compliance with the highest standards of cybersecurity, and the Ministry’s efforts in data governance through the establishment of a central data lake, and the development of predictive analyzes to support decision -making and enhance transparency, in line with the vision of “We UAE 2031” and “Emirates Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031”.
The offers also dealt with the Ministry’s experiences in financial prediction of data to ensure the allocation of resources efficiently and transparently, and continuous international cooperation has been highlighted with major institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Association of Public Accountants (ACCA), and to provide innovation in public finances on global platforms, in order to enhance the position of the UAE as a global center in smart and sustainable public finance. His Excellency Maryam Mohamed Al -Amiri stressed that the ministry believes in the importance of cognitive partnerships that enable government institutions to progress with confidence towards the future, noting that this visit reflects the UAE’s commitment to support government work systems on innovative and advisory foundations, and enhance their position as a pioneering model in government financial management at the global level, expressing their aspiration to the visit to be the beginning of long -term cooperation paths with the Republic of Indonesia, and is based on Joint aspirations towards sustainable development and government innovation.
This visit comes in the context of the Ministry of Finance’s keenness to enhance international cooperation and consolidate the position of the UAE as a pioneering model in financial innovation and the digital government.
The members of the Indonesian delegation praised the experiments offered by the Ministry of Finance, and the level of digital progress it achieved in providing government financial services, appreciating the efforts of the UAE in harnessing technology to enhance government performance efficiency.
