The World Charitable Business Authority accomplishes the excavation and maintenance of 850 wells within the summer campaign
Ajman, August 15/ WAM/ The International Charitable Business Authority announced the digging and maintenance of 850 wells at a cost of 6 million dirhams in the most needy regions around the world, since the start of the summer campaign on May 18.
His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al -Khaja, the Secretary -General of the International Charitable Business Authority, said that the authority aims, through these projects, to provide clean water sources for societies that suffer from water scarcity and improve the quality of life in them, because of its direct impact in limiting the spread of diseases and epidemics, and supporting the stability of societies, especially in areas that suffer drought or conflicts, stressing that this achievement comes as a continuation of the authority’s approach to implementing sustainable humanitarian and development projects that serve man wherever it is.
He explained that the well -digging projects in various areas of their work were implemented according to technical criteria that guarantee the sustainability of the service for many years, taking into account the needs of each region and the number of beneficiaries, indicating that the authority’s keenness to follow up on these projects in the field to ensure the quality of implementation and safety of use.
His Excellency added that the authority is continuing its plans to implement more water projects during the coming period, as part of its strategy that focuses on supporting the most needy societies and providing the ingredients for a decent life for them.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the donors and supporters who contributed to achieving this humanitarian achievement, stressing that their continuous cooperation is the main driver of the success of the initiatives implemented by the authority at home and abroad, and that what was achieved is a witness to the values of solidarity and the firm giving in Emirati society.
