The graduation of 18 participants in the professional development program to enhance the quality of family care in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, August 20 / WAM / The Family Welfare Authority celebrated, in partnership with New York University Abu Dhabi – Executive Education Office, and the “Silver” College of Social Work at New York University, the graduation of its 18th employees from the family cases sector participating in the professional development program specialized in managing the case, aimed at coordinating and providing social support services for families and individuals in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, implementing comprehensive and integrated interventions They meet their needs.
The program is the first of its kind in the region, because of its particular importance in enhancing the skills of employees with specialized scientific expertise based on international best practices, to enable them to perform their duties as the first defense line in providing family care and protecting the basic rights of families and ensuring the well -being of members of society.
“This program represents a qualitative step on the path of enhancing social welfare, and it embodies the commitment of the authority to improve the efficiency of the family welfare system and raise the quality of its integrated services,” said His Excellency Salama Al -Amimi, Director General of the Family Care Authority.

This celebration coincides with the “Year of Society 2025”, under the slogan “Hand in Hand”, in an embodiment of the targets of the vision of the Community Development Department – Abu Dhabi, to enhance the well -being of families and build an independent and stable life for them, in a way that confirms the authority’s keenness to unify joint efforts and enhance cooperation and integration between the concerned authorities, in order to develop an integrated social system to manage the situation, and raise the efficiency of the response and the quality of the services provided For the target groups.
The graduates have started their work in the service centers in Abu Dhabi, Al -Ain and Al -Dhafra, practically applying their skills and knowledge specialized in the areas of care, sympathy, respect, transparency, integrity and responsibility, which contributes to enhancing the quality of family care.
The graduates expressed their appreciation for the knowledge and skills they gained over nine months during the program, stressing that it reflects the commitment of the Family Welfare Authority to enhance the culture of continuous learning and the participation of knowledge within the social sector in the emirate.
