" Sharjah Old Cars Museum" It displays rare collectibles at the Mansour bin Zayed Championship in Al Wathba

Abu Dhabi, March 15 / WAM / The Sharjah Vintage Cars Museum participates with a group of its rare collectibles in the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Ramadan Championship – Al Wathba 2026, amid a remarkable turnout from the tournament’s audience.
The participation includes displaying a number of old cars that reflect the development of the vehicle industry over different decades of the last century, and represent important stages in the history of design and mechanical engineering.
Among the cars on display is a 1930 Ford Model A coupe, which is considered one of the vehicles that contributed to the widespread spread of cars in the early twentieth century, thanks to its simplicity, which constituted a qualitative shift in car design at that time, and a 1948 Riley RMS, which is one of the British cars that was known for its distinctive design, as it combined luxury and balanced performance, which made it one of the favorite cars among classic car enthusiasts in Europe during that period.
The 1965 Porsche 912 stands out. It is one of the sports cars that was famous for its balanced performance and elegant, sporty design. It represented an extension of Porsche’s success in providing cars that combine high performance and driving pleasure.
Ahmed Saif bin Hanzal, Director of the Sharjah Vintage Cars Museum, said that this participation comes within the framework of the museum’s efforts to highlight the historical and cultural value of old cars, introduce the public to their development, and provide the opportunity to see closely rare models that represent important stages in the history of the automobile industry.
