Dubai police patrols in Dubai Police seized a young man leading a motorcycle without a numbers plate, in a reckless manner in the Al -Khawaneej area, exposing his life and the safety of others at risk.

The Director of the General Traffic Department in Dubai Police, Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, said that the traffic patrols monitored the young man reviewing the bike on the Quranic park walkway as he was leading them on one frame in a very dangerous way, pointing out that he was followed up with caution for nearly an hour until he was stopped inside the garage complex.

After checking the bike, it was found that it was required in a traffic due to the accumulation of violations and the end of the license, so it was seized, and the driver was referred to the competent center to complete the legal investigations, while an official report of the incident was prepared according to the procedures followed.
He explained that the bike that was seized, and a fine of 50 thousand dirhams is scheduled to be applied to dismantle the reservation in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 30 of 2023 regarding vehicles reservation, stressing that Dubai Police is strictly dealt with such practices due to their seriousness and threat to the safety of their perpetrators and other road users, as well as damage to public roads and property.

The Director of the General Traffic Department warned against the driving of vehicles or bicycles without a driver’s license, or to review it with indiscretion and recklessness, stressing that the police personnel do not tolerate the confrontation of the perpetrators of these violations, appealing to the parents of the necessity of following up their children and monitoring their actions, and not allowing them to lead motorcycles without a license, or participating in illegal practices.

Brigadier Juma bin Suwaidan, Director of the General Traffic Department, called on members of the community to cooperate with the Dubai Police and report any negative phenomena or reckless behaviors through the “Police Eye” service in the Dubai Smart Police application, or through the service of “We are all police” on the number 901, stressing that the community’s awareness and positive participation constitute a key partner in maintaining traffic and traffic safety.
