The growth of Saudi non -oil exports by 22.1% in June and 17.8% during the second quarter

Riyadh, August 25/ WAM/ The General Authority for Statistics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued today, the publications of international merchandise statistics for the month of June 2025, and for the second quarter of the same year.
The results of the June bulletin showed the continued growth of non -petroleum exports “including re -export”, as it recorded an increase of 22.1% compared to the month of June 2024, and non -oil national exports increased “with the exception of re -export” by 8.4%.
The Saudi Press Agency “SPA” stated that, according to the results of the newsletter, the value of re -exported goods increased by 60.2%, while the total commodity exports achieved an increase of 3.7%, despite the decrease in petroleum exports by 2.5%, so that the percentage of petroleum exports decreased from the total exports to 70.2%compared to 74.7%in June 2024.
Imports increased by 1.7%, as this contributed to improving the percentage of non -oil exports to imports to 39.2% compared to 32.7%, while the surplus in the trade balance increased by 10.6% compared to the same month last year.
In the same context, the results of the International Trade Bulletin during the second quarter of 2025 showed the continued growth of non -petroleum exports by 17.8%, compared to the same quarter of 2024, and non -petroleum national exports increased by 5.6%, while the value of re -exported goods increased by 46.2%.
While the total commodity exports recorded a 7.3% decrease compared to the second quarter of 2024; This is due to the decrease in petroleum exports by 15.8%, thus decreasing the percentage of petroleum exports from the total total exports from 74.7% during the second quarter from 2024 to 67.9% during the second quarter of 2025.
As for commodity imports, they increased by 13.1% during the second quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, while the surplus in the trade balance decreased by 56.2%.
The percentage of non -petroleum exports increased to imports, reaching 37.3% compared to 35.8% during the second quarter of 2024.
