“Arla Foods International” supports the job development of 160 Bahraini employees through “Tamkeen” programs

“Arla Foods International” was able to train 160 Bahraini employees through the training support program for the institutions provided by the “Tamkeen” labor fund, as this support is in line with the efforts of “Arla Foods International” in enhancing the skills of its national competencies and their professional development.

The training support program provides institutions in support of institutions wishing to develop their national competencies by covering the training costs to develop the skills of their human resources, which enhances its productivity and contributes to achieving growth and increasing competitiveness.

The support of “Tamkeen” for the national cadres operating in Arla Foods International comes in line with the strategic priorities of the Labor Fund for the year 2025, which is to enhance the status and competitiveness of the Bahraini citizen in the private sector, and provide Bahrainis with the appropriate skills for job development in the private sector, as well as granting priority to the growth and gratitude of institutions and the sustainability of institutions.

Tamkeen has contributed to the support of “Arla Foods International” over the past years through various support programs such as the wage increase program and the on -a -job training program. This support comes to enhance the growth of the growing manufacturing sector, which is the third largest contributing sectors in the gross domestic product after the financial services sector and the oil services sector, as it contributed by 14.4% according to the first quarter of this year.

The presence of major global companies such as “Arla Foods” in the Kingdom is a valuable opportunity to develop national cadres and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain, in addition to improving the paths of job specialization. This contributes to increasing the volume of Bahraini exports to regional and international markets.
