The UAE condemns the Israeli violation of Syrian lands and sovereignty

The UAE has condemned in the strongest expressions the dangerous Israeli escalation and the violations of the Israeli army in Syrian territory, confirming its complete rejection of the violation of the sovereignty of Syria and the threat of its security and stability.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the continuous Israeli incursions into Syrian territory constitute a flagrant violation of international law, and the agreement to break the clash between Syria and Israel in 1974, which Israel must respect.

The Ministry stressed the UAE’s steadfast position towards supporting Syria’s stability and sovereignty over its entire lands, standing alongside the brotherly Syrian people, and its support for all efforts that aim to achieve its aspirations for security, peace, a decent life, peaceful coexistence and development.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to move immediately to stop the repeated attacks on Syrian soil, stop the escalation and everything that would increase tension in the region and threaten security and regional and international peace.
