Jury "Million poet" Building wide participation in interview tours
Abu Dhabi, August 27 / WAM / The jury of the “Poet of the Million” program praised the wide participation of poets in the interview tours to choose the stars of the twelfth season of the program.
The jury interviews for the selection of poets in the first round to be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and will continue until August 28.
The jury consisting of Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, Dr. Ghassan Al -Hassan and the poet Hamad Al -Saeed praised the high levels that poets have shown and resulted in a number of participants obtaining the gold cards since the first day of the tour.
Dr. Ghassan Al -Hassan noted the development of the level of poets applying to the competition, and their ability to provide valid, healthy and high -level poetry, indicating that there is a large balance of poetic experiences that have passed on the program since its first season, which is a balance available for those who want to use it to upgrade its poetic level.
Al -Hassan explained that the gold card is granted to distinguish some poets who were able to reach high levels and is an individual card that expresses the evaluation of one of the committee members and not the full committee, and is granted to one poet.
He advised the poets applying to participate in the twelfth season, to take advantage of the observations and corrections that were mentioned in the previous seasons, and took them into consideration before standing before the jury.
For his part, the poet Hamad Al -Saeed stressed that the “Poet of the Million” program after 11 seasons has become an academic edifice that educates the poet and the recipient at the same time, indicating that he contributed to creating a self -critical criticism of the poet by following his previous seasons.
He added that the program presented a lot to poetry, literature and poets, in terms of refining talents and making stardom, and providing the poetic and literary scene with many names, and the development of a high taste of the recipient and the poets, which led to the development of the poetic texts presented in this season and their difference from the previous seasons, which indicates that the “poet of the million” harvested in this season the fruits of what he planted in the previous seasons, stressing the need for poets to present. The season is distinguished texts, because the competition has become stronger.
The jury continues after Riyadh to reach Kuwait on September 3 and 4, then Amman on September 9 and 10, and Muscat on September 16, before concluding in Abu Dhabi on September 22, 23 and 2425, with the aim of attracting creators in the field of Nabati poetry and highlighting their capabilities through a leading media platform that enhances the presence of this authentic art in the literary and poetic scene.
