Tunisia, on August 27 / WAM / Our national athletics team raised its score to 3 medals, with a silver and bronze reality, in the 11th edition of the Arab Junior Championship and U -18 Winners, which concluded today in Tunisia, after the Yaqari Abdel Salam, two new “silver and bronze” medals, after the bronze of Abdel -Quddus Ahmed Ali in the 400 -meter emerging race.
The silver medal came in the final of the “female” jumping, recording 2.70 meters, to crash the state number for women “2.25 meters”, while the bronze won the throwing of the spear “females”, achieving a “35.25 -meter” distance, to record a new number.
Rashid Nasser Al Ali, a member of the Athletics Federation Board of Directors of the Mission, stressed that the Yazi Abdul Salam, 16 years old, performed an exceptional performance in her first participation, and succeeded in winning two medals simultaneously between the first and second participation in the two competitors, with a time difference of about 30 minutes.
He added that the brilliance of the heroine in the championship, not only dependent on the silver and the bronze, but also extends to two new number in the two competitors, which confirms the great capabilities and high skills to reach the podium.
