With the participation of the United Arab Emirates, the International Security Alliance succeeded in carrying out a joint anti -drug process, targeting criminal groups crossing the border involved in drug smuggling estimated at $ 2.9 billion, in cooperation between 25 countries around the world and a number of international police organizations.
The operation, which carried out an atmosphere, sea, righteousness, is the second of the coalition, and resulted in the seizure of more than 822 tons of various types of drugs crossing, and the arrest of 12,564 suspects around the world.

A two -month operation participated in the two -month operation, a number of member states of the International Security Alliance, which are the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Spain, Morocco, France, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Italy, alongside Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, El Salvador, Gatemala, Panama, Venezuela and Peru from the Police Organization in the Americas (Emiripol), Croatia and Belgium from the European Union for Cooperation in the field of law enforcement (Europol) in addition to the Maldives, Jordan and Nepal.

This intense cooperation contributed to collecting information on new criminal networks and exchanging experiences on drug smuggling methods, unifying coalition efforts and partners in control, building bilateral relations between specialized experts, which has strengthened the efficiency of field coordination, raising the level of common readiness, and developing proactive mechanisms to address the (illegal) drug flows crossing and controlling them.

It is noteworthy that the International Security Alliance (ISA) frameworks a work that established the year 2017 AD, by France and the United Arab Emirates with the aim of enhancing cooperation and building partnerships between member states to confront joint security challenges. The coalition focuses on issues with a global dimension, foremost of which is the fight against cross -border crime, with the adoption of an approach that combines high -level strategic cooperation with field executive participation, in a manner that ensures the achievement of the best results in the face of criminal crimes, and besides its main goals, the coalition also contributes to the consolidation of the UAE’s role and its position as an effective force in formulating the international security agenda, and enhancing its influence by building strategic partnerships It extends at the regional and global levels.
