Women leaders participate in the celebration of the Dubai Council of Emirati Women’s Day

Dubai, August 28/ WAM/ Dubai Sports Council celebrated the Emirati Women’s Day, organizing a sporting and running sporting event in the “Dubai Mall”, within the “Dubai Moghon” initiative, with the wide participation of women from leaders in government departments and members of the Federal National Council, in addition to the employees of government agencies and participation from various groups of society, in an atmosphere that reflected the importance of the occasion and the position of sports in the life of Emirati women.
The list of participants included His Hala Badri, Director General of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, His Excellency Maryam Bin Thaniya, the second deputy head of the Federal National Council, His Excellency Al -Akdi, member of the Federal National Council, His Excellency Naima Al Ahly, Executive Director of the Dubai Women’s Foundation, and a number of government departments employees, in addition to a wide community participation that reflected the importance of the event and keenness to participate in the national celebration, as well as the status of sport with Emirati women.
Saeed Hareb, Secretary -General of the Dubai Sports Council, stressed that celebrating the Emirati Women Day embodies appreciation for its active role in society and its contribution to the process of development and excellence, noting that the Council this year was keen to organize a community sporting effectiveness that enhances the importance of physical activity and highlights the participation of women in various sporting events.
