Abu Dhabi hosts the World Boxing World Championship with the participation of 150 countries

Abu Dhabi on September 1/ WAM/ The Emirates Mi -Tai and Cake Boxing Federation announced that Abu Dhabi will host the World Cheat Boxing champion Its ability to organize major international sports events.
This came during the signing of the hosting agreement between the International Cake Boxing Federation “Wako”, and the Emirates Federation of Moe Tai and Cake Boxing, in the presence of His Excellency Roy Baker, President of the International Federation, and Ali Khoury, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Moe Tai and Cake Boxing.
His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al -Neyadi, President of the Asian and Arab Federation for Mawy Tai, President of the Emirates Mawy Tai and Cake Boxing Federation, stressed that hosting the World Boxing World Championship represents a new sports achievement added to the record of the continuous successes of the state, and embodies the confidence of international federations in the UAE’s ability to organize major sporting events.
He pointed out that this event reflects the UAE’s position as a global destination for combat sports, thanks to the continuous support and care from the rational leadership, considering that the tournament will provide an important platform to highlight the great development achieved by the game at the local and international levels.
For his part, Roy Baker expressed his welcome to the choice of Abu Dhabi to host this global event, stressing that the International Federation adopts a transparent system of dependence on the lines of what is happening with the Olympic Games.

He added that the choice was signed on the UAE because of its significant growth in the cake boxing, and its distinguished capabilities as a pioneering regional center, where the tournament will be held for the first time in Abu Dhabi, and it is expected that it will attract more than 2000 players and players from 150 countries, which reflects the great confidence that the Emirates Federation has.
For his part, Ali Khoury stressed that the organization of the championship in Abu Dhabi is a qualitative shift in the history of the game, pointing out that its hosting for the first time outside Europe in an Arab country reflects the distinguished position of the Emirates.

He explained that the tournament constitutes an important addition to the agenda of major sporting events, thanking the wise leadership for its continuous support for the cake boxing and Moi Tai sports, which contributed to enhancing the union’s position at the regional and global levels.
