The tournament, which concluded its activities yesterday, witnessed the crowning of Baniyas Club with the title of adult category, while the Sharjah Psychological Sports Club won the title of a category under 14 years, and Al Ain Club was crowned the title of an under 16 years of age, while Al -Jazira Club won the top of the under 18 years of age.
Obaid Khamis Al -Kaabi, a member of the Board of Bani Yas Club and the supervisor of the jujitsu sport, stressed that the coronation of the adult title is the result of an integrated collective work and joint efforts by the administration, players and technical devices.
Al -Kaabi gave this achievement to His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, President of Bani Yas Cultural Sports Club, noting that the continuous support from His Highness formed the cornerstone of this success, and stressing at the same time that the club’s ambitions are still great in continuing excellence and ascending the coronation platforms.
Omar Samie, the coach of the Sharjah Club of Myself, explained that the club’s strategy depends on early preparation and not stopping work, which reflected positively on the results of the team, which managed to win the first place in the under -14 category and the second place in the under -16 category.
He pointed out that these results reflect the continuous development in the level of the players, pointing to the joining of the UAE team for the UAE team for Jujitsu, which reflects the great success of the club’s technical and administrative system.
Abdullah Al -Kaabi, the Al Ain club player in the adult category, expressed his happiness that his team won the third place, considering this an incentive to continue work and achieve the gold medal next season, stressing that his ambition extends to the representation of the Emirates in the largest international forums.
As for his colleague Hazza Hassani, he pointed out that the competition was strong with the participation of ten clubs, expressing his pride in crowning the third place, and stressing his intention to continue the development to be among the elite players in the country.
In the under -16 category, Maid Al Hosani, the player of Sharjah Club, expressed his satisfaction with second place in a fierce competition, stressing that his future ambition is to crown the world champion.
In the under -18 category, Salem Mohamed Al Qubaisi, Al Ain Club player and the owner of the silver medal in the weight of 60 kg, expressed his happiness with this result, stressing that the collective performance and solidarity between the players had the biggest role in reaching this achievement, indicating that his next goal is to crown the gold of the masters and represent the Emirates in the best way in international championships.
The results achieved in the Cup of Vice President of the State for Jujitsu reflect the size of the continuous work within the clubs, and the readiness of the young generations to carry the banner of excellence in the sport of Jujitsu, which has become one of the most prominent combat sports development at the state and the region.
