"Abu Dhabi Public Health" It launches an application "City Muf" To enhance healthy lifestyles
Abu Dhabi on September 1 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Public Health Center has officially launched the innovative “City Muf” application in Yas Mall, with the participation of more than 600 contestants, and aims to convert the daily movement into stimulating interactive adventures, through a series of digital challenges that enhance physical activity in a fun and interactive manner.
His Excellency Dr. Rashid Al -Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health, explained that the application represents a qualitative shift that exceeds the limits of traditional digital platforms, stressing that it is not just an application, but a new lifestyle that seeks to make physical activity enjoyable, social and easy to reach for all, indicating that converting daily places into spaces for movement and exploration gives health a rich experience and a journey full of excitement.
The application allows users to participate in two main competitors, the first is the creators’ competition, which gives the opportunity to design personal challenges and share them within the application, provided that three of the most participating challenges until Friday, December 5 will receive financial prizes worth 50 thousand dirhams. The second, the biggest challenge competition, includes five challenges distributed on the most prominent landmarks of Abu Dhabi, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, the Yas Marina Circuit, the Beach Walk, Marsa Beach, and Yas Mall, while the fastest five participants are granted the challenges monthly advanced hours of fitness.
The “City Muf” application embodies the center’s vision in consolidating healthy lifestyles by combining play, technology and physical activity, to become a group platform that brings together families, friends and colleagues in an interactive experience that stimulates movement and establishes health as an authentic part of the daily lifestyle.
