Expand the scope of the “Red Carpet” smart corridor at Dubai International Airport

The General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has announced a plan to expand the scope of the operation of the smart corridor known as the “red carpet” in Building 3 at Dubai International Airport, to include arriving and departing travelers during the coming period.
This expansion comes within the efforts of the administration, in cooperation with Dubai airports, to enhance the experience of passengers and facilitate travel procedures through smart and advanced solutions.
The “red carpet” service allows travelers to pass passport procedures within a few seconds, without the need to highlight the passport or any other travel documents.
The smart corridor is characterized by its ability to serve up to 10 travelers at the same time, which contributes to accelerating the transit movement and reducing congestion in travel halls.
This step is part of the Dubai Digital Transformation Strategy in Governmental Services, and an affirmation of the position of Dubai International Airport as one of the most advanced and innovative airports in the world.
