The completion of the first phase of the new expansion project for the branch "Dubai schools" in "Nad Al -Sheba"

Dubai, September 3 / WAM / In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, the Knowledge Fund Foundation announced the completion of the first phase of the new expansion project for the “Dubai Schools” branch in Nad Al -Sheba, as part of the continuous efforts to supply the educational sector in the emirate with qualitative educational options and design an advanced international educational model In it, in order to support the goals of Dubai Social Agency 33 aimed at enhancing the quality of education, and building a promising generation that keeps pace with Dubai’s future aspirations, in line with the Dubai Education Strategy 33.
The project contributes to achieving the strategic plan for the expansion of “Dubai Schools” adopted by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in January 2024 at a value of 530 million dirhams to raise the total absorptive capacity of “Dubai Schools”.
The project reinforces the capacity of Nad Al -Sheba branch through the implementation of two main phases, where the first stage was completed before the start of the 2025-2026 academic year, and the construction of 31 new classes with a capacity of 777 students.
As for the second stage, to be completed in July 2026, the absorptive capacity will gradually raise to 2,664 seats by establishing 114 classrooms, 31 laboratories and specialized hall, which keeps pace with population growth and enhances access to high -quality education.
The expansion project also includes integrated sports facilities that include a half an Olympic internal swimming pool, a football court in line with international standards, an internal gym, a fitness hall, and multi -use external playgrounds, in order to enhance the concept of “comprehensive education” that combines academic and sports excellence.
